Road Rage

I think that everyone will experience some degree of road rage in their life time. I really don't understand why people would subject themselves to a road rage when they know that they could potentially harm themselves and others. Why are drivers very impatient these days? Why do they have to drive faster? Why do drivers become really bad when it is raining? What is so hard in giving way to someone? What's the point of driving faster if you're only going to stop at the next traffic light? These are the questions I always ask when I hear people in a road rage.

People get shot just because they cut off someone on the road. People do the dumbest thing like break people's car window just because they've lost it. It was on T.V awhile back about this man who decided to break this woman's car window because she somehow pissed him off. This particular woman was not alone in her car she had her kids in it yet it didn't stop the man from bashing her window. Shouldn't something be done about that? I don't think they've arrested the man.

The one that really gets up my nose is when it is raining. Somehow drivers just becomes extra bad at driving when it's raining. Some drives way too fast for the wet weather. Some just loses their patience all together and honks at everyone on sight. Other just refuse to let you into a lane. Now, what is up with that? I constantly have to take a deep breath not let anything get to me. I think it's all about self discipline, knowing when not to let things get to you.

Nothing good can come out of a road rage. Here's a youtube video I have stumbled upon while browsing the net. The clip was taken in Sydney where a man escorts sydney drivers back into their car. hats off to that guy who managed to stop a potentially ugly road rage. It's so damn embarrassing don't you think?

Then the other day when I was driving around my suburb I saw a police escorts Melbourne men in their police car due to road rage that got violently out of control. It is so scary sometimes to think that this could happen to me let alone when I am driving with my son in the car. Why don't people just grow up?
